Friends of Milton Country Park
The Friends are a voluntary group who help the rangers in the Country Park in Milton. Their web site has been managed by The Hug for a long time and was given a re-vamp and a new domain in 2007 on the back of the successful Save Milton Country Park campaign.
The site takes its blue and orange theme colours from the kingfisher, which is the park's logo.
It uses our Opus content management system which allows members of the committee to update the site themselves and was a "blog" which keeps visitors up to date with news of goings on in the park. This can also be read via the site's RSS feed.
