Crime and Society Foundation

CSF logo   The Crime and Society Foundation is a social policy and criminal justice think tank based at the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies at King's College London.

The Foundation stimulates debate about the role and limits of criminal justice and enhances understanding of the foundations and characteristics of a safer society.

We developed a new web site for them using our Opus content management engine. Using Opus meant that Foundation staff could update the information on the site themselves.

They did this very regularly publishing a daily news summary most days both on their web site and by email which highlighted stories in the media in areas they think are of interest.

They also published a monthly news bulletin again both on the web and by email updating people on the work they had been doing.

All their publications and press releases were also posted on their web site.

Our intelligent indexing meant that staff only had to post the new page, be it a new summary, a monthly bulletin, a publication or a press release and Opus automatically updated the related index page.

Update

The foundation has now become Harm and Society, a project of the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies, and we created their web site too changing the old Crime and Society web site to forward visitors to the new site.
