The Centre for Crime and Justice Studies today announced the winners in their "What is Crime?" photo competition. The competition, sponsored by the Wates Foundation, asked for visual answers to the question "What is Crime?".
The resulting exhibition, to be mounted in association with The Independent is at 198 Gallery, 198 Railton Road, Brixton, London, SE24 0JT, from 9th July to 28th August.
"Pardip" by Alex Masi, the favourite entry of judge Ken Loach
You can read more about this and see some of the photos on the Independent web site.
Why are we mentioning this here? Because The Hug did the back room work for this competition, among other things providing the competition entry form on the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies web site where entrants could upload their photos and then confirm their entry and a page showing all the entries for the judges to use.
