Who are we?
Elizabeth Oldham is a software developer, mainly working in C and C++. She has worked for a number of companies on projects ranging from subtitling software for film companies, to high end commercial web servers, to Formula 1 racing car telemetry systems, to embedded Linux solutions. Her last role before joining The Hug was as Linux guru for MIPS a leading provider of industry-standard processor architectures and cores for digital consumer and business applications.
Paul Oldham discovered computers in 1977 just at the time when computers were no longer huge machines in air conditioned rooms but were little boxes on your desk. He's been obsessed with them ever since. A degree in Computer Science at Kings College, Cambridge led him on to a varied career in the computer industry programming at various times in assembler, Kebasco, Fortran, Cobol, PHP, perl, and SQL. His last role before joining The Hug was Technical Director for a vertical market software house.
